Bukela Game Lodge is a distinguished 5-star establishment located in the Amakhala Game Reserve, Addo Eastern Cape, South Africa. The lodge offers exclusive accommodation through four suites and ten luxury safari tents, each designed with African simplicity while maintaining premium comfort standards.

Nestled in a hidden valley among indigenous trees and bushes, this intimate safari destination is renowned for creating romantic and private guest experiences. The accommodation units are interconnected by wooden walkways, with each thatched suite and luxury tent offering guests private wildlife viewing opportunities. The suites feature spacious en-suite bathrooms with both indoor and outdoor shower options.

The lodge provides a comprehensive safari experience with qualified rangers conducting morning, afternoon, and evening game drives. The reserve is home to the Big 5 and boasts abundant wildlife, birds, and diverse flora and fauna. Guests can enjoy sumptuous meals, including private candlelit dinners, while experiencing the authentic sounds of wildlife, such as elephants and buffalo, moving freely through the unfenced camp.

The property also serves as a venue for small team-building events, conferences, and weddings. The rates include accommodation, all meals, selected beverages, and two game drives per night. A Conservation Levy is applied to support anti-poaching measures within the Amakhala Game Reserve, with updated rates effective from October 1, 2023. The use of drones is strictly prohibited throughout the reserve.
