Bundox Safari Lodge

Bundox Safari Lodge is situated on a small, private nature reserve in the prestigious Greater Kruger area. It is ideally located on the Guernsey Road near Hoedspruit, which makes it the perfect accommodation base close to the Kruger National Park and Blyde River Canyon. The lodge features six Safari Tents located among the trees, each with an en-suite tented bathroom with either a bath or shower, king-size bed, wooden flooring, and an outside deck.

Additionally, there are two chalets that can accommodate two and four people, respectively, making them suitable for families with children. The lodge's flagship unit is the Superior Tent, which comes with a new spa and is an ideal hideaway for honeymoon couples or couples seeking a romantic getaway. This spacious tent features an en-suite bathroom with a luxury bath and a large outdoor shower.

The lodge is cocooned by bushveld and is home to various plains game species, such as duiker, nyala, and bushbuck. With over 500 bird species in the Greater Kruger area, avid birdwatchers are bound to spot a few lifers. Guests can choose to relax on the lodge property while visiting the new bush spa or indulge in one of the many activities available in the vicinity.

The lodge offers day trips in the Kruger National Park, guided sunset river drives, Blyde River boat cruises, and trips to local cultural villages. The boma provides a truly South African experience, where guests can enjoy laughter, listen to the sounds of the wild, and watch the fire crackle into oblivion. During the day, guests can embark on guided or self-drive adventures in the area, while those who prefer to stay at the lodge can enjoy the swimming pool or the privacy of their accommodation.

The Spa at Bundox Safari Lodge provides a tranquil setting for healing and total relaxation, allowing guests to discover the healing power of Africa's rich natural resources, which can hydrate, relax, detoxify, balance, and rejuvenate the soul. Children of all ages are welcome at the lodge, and the Family Chalet Buffalo offers self-standing units with a boma and a shaded verandah. The main chalet features an en-suite bathroom with an indoor shower, complimentary amenities, and a fan, while the second chalet is suitable for children with an en-suite bathroom and an indoor shower.
