Bush Lodge At Hidden Valley Wines

The Bush Lodge at Hidden Valley Wines is a luxurious self-catering accommodation situated on a boutique wine farm on the Helderberg mountain slopes in Stellenbosch. The property comprises two separate buildings that can accommodate up to six guests in total. The main house features a fully equipped kitchen, lounge/dining area, sun room, and a master en-suite bedroom with a king-size bed. The adjacent cottage houses two en-suite bedrooms, one with a king bed and another with twin beds.

The modern architecture seamlessly integrates natural elements of rock and wood, creating the impression of floating above the olive trees. The two units are connected by a landscaped deck and pool area, offering spectacular west-facing views of the vineyards, valley, and Table Mountain. All rooms are well-appointed with amenities including Wi-Fi, safes, desks, hair dryers, bathrobes, slippers, and premium linen. The bathrooms feature heated towel rails and Egyptian Cotton linens.

The main lodge's open-plan living area includes a fully equipped kitchen with a stove and oven, a six-seater dining table, and a comfortable lounge with DStv, Wi-Fi, and a fireplace. Large glass sliding doors open onto the pool and deck area, which features a gas braai, outdoor furniture, and sun loungers. The exterior is clad in weather-resistant Jarrah timber with sliding screens to protect against the afternoon sun.

Hidden Valley Wines offers various activities including wine tasting, chocolate and wine pairing, fine dining, a self-service eatery, picnics, hiking trails, and cellar tours. The property's booking system is occupancy-based, with the cottage remaining locked and vacant when only two persons book the main house.
