Bushriver Lodge is a self-catering, owner-operated, 4-star accommodation located on the banks of the Olifants River, close to the Kruger National Park, approximately 25 km from Hoedspruit. It is uniquely situated amongst the lush, naturally endemic riverine vegetation and trees on the perennial Olifants River banks.

The lodge offers guests self-catering accommodation in luxury, air-conditioned units/chalets with fully equipped kitchens and private braai areas. The main lodge central complex features a large wooden viewing deck that partially extends over the Olifants River, which is home to a variety of wildlife such as hippos, crocodiles, fish, and water birds.

The conserved bushveld in excess of 400 hectares on which the lodge is situated is being expanded with the ongoing removal of game fencing. Under the supervision of engineer and ecologist, owner Paul Allin, and in partnership with local conservation NGOs, the reserve is actively rewilding the habitat to increase biodiversity. The reserve offers various activities for guests, including birding, self-driven game drives to view wildlife species, walking, running, trail running, and mountain biking routes. Guests may encounter resident leopards or a pack of African wild dogs that regularly visit the reserve.

Bushriver Lodge offers special, rebated tariffs for extended stays to guests upon request. The chalets and main lodge are equipped with reliable Wi-Fi and working areas, making the lodge an ideal venue for remote work. After a productive day, guests can enjoy a sundowner on the deck overlooking the river. Being centrally situated, Bushriver Lodge is an ideal base for exploring the nearby Kruger National Park, the Panorama Route, and the surrounding Lowveld. A wide range of activities are offered or can be arranged to ensure a memorable, enjoyable, exciting, and relaxing stay.
