Cadle House is a historic building in the town. It is characterized by high ceilings, thick walls, wooden floors, and bay windows, set in a garden with wonderful trees. The owners are attempting to lovingly restore the building to its former beauty. They have started with the guest cottages, where guests will reside, although separate from the main house. In the near future, Cadle House will also be home to Vryheid's first craft brewery, Battlefields Breweries.
The accommodations consist of a double unit and a double twin unit. The double unit features an en-suite bathroom with a shower, toilet, and basin. The double twin unit has two single beds that can be converted into a double bed, along with a sleeper couch for small children, and a toilet and basin. Both units have a fridge, microwave, and kettle, as well as a private braai area with a stunning pool view. Amenities include coffee, tea, and rusks, a TV with limited channels, free Wi-Fi access, and safe parking.
There is also a double room with a patio and a view over the pool and garden. This room has a queen bed suitable for a couple, as well as a semi-open plan bathroom with a shower, toilet, and basin (no bath). Onsite, secure parking is available, along with a coffee station, bar fridge, and Smart TV.
