Call of the Fish Eagle is a double-story, private self-catering guest house situated in Marloth Park, adjacent to Kruger National Park. The property borders parkland and frequently receives visits from diverse wildlife including blue wildebeest, giraffe, zebra, kudu, warthog, impala, and numerous bird species. Located 21 kilometers from the Crocodile Bridge access gate to Kruger National Park, it serves as an ideal base for day trips without requiring overnight stays within the park.
The guest house features three en-suite bedrooms: two upstairs rooms with queen beds, showers, baths, and double vanities, and one downstairs room with two three-quarter beds. Additional sleeping arrangements are available in the loft area, which contains two sleeper couches. The well-appointed kitchen includes a gas stove, fridge/freezer combo, microwave oven, washing machine, dishwasher, and water filtration system. A dedicated bar area is equipped with a bar fridge and icemaker.
The property boasts entertainment decks accessible from all bedrooms and living areas. The bottom deck features a splash pool, boma with braai area and fire pit, providing ample space for guests to observe the surrounding wildlife. Modern amenities include uncapped Wi-Fi, full DStv, and air-conditioning throughout. Security features comprise an alarm system with deck beams and clear guard protection for windows and doors.
