Camelroc Guest Farm is a tranquil farm located between the two Caledon rivers, close to the Caledonspoort border post. It faces a spectacular sandstone hill with an outcrop shaped like a camel's head, which gives the farm its name. The farm offers glorious views of the Maluti Mountains and can be recommended as a good base for exploring the Eastern Free State and Lesotho.

For those who prefer to stay on the premises and relax, Camelroc offers various amenities and activities. Guests can take walks into the mountain, enjoy a swim in the pool, and have a braai beside the cottage while appreciating the serenity and splendor of the Eastern Free State countryside. The farm provides diverse activities and places to discover in the area.

Camelroc has seven fully furnished and well-equipped chalets for self-catering purposes. These include two cozy open-plan chalets sleeping 2 to 3 guests, one small 2-bedroom chalet (with a double bed and bunk bed) sleeping a maximum of 4 guests, two 2-bedroom chalets with each room sleeping 2 people and a sleeper couch in the lounge, one 3-bedroom chalet sleeping 8, and one 4-bedroom chalet sleeping 8.

In the main homestead, guests can be accommodated in the guest house's three en-suite rooms, each sleeping 2 people and tastefully decorated with Oregon pine furnishings. It is important to note that the rooms in the main house are not equipped for self-catering.

Guests are welcome to enjoy the use of the thatched entertainment area around the pool or play table tennis on the patio. The garden features a netball ring, and there is ample space for playing ball games and volleyball. The guest house, built from traditional sandstone, has a fireplace in the lounge, and all the bedrooms are equipped with heaters and electric blankets for cold winter nights.

Camelroc Guest Farm is the perfect halfway stop between the Cape and KwaZulu-Natal. Visitors can enjoy a country stay with beautiful views of the countryside, bird life, small game, rock art, and the Poplar trees turning in autumn.
