Candlewood Lodge

Candlewood Lodge is an award-winning, eco-friendly guesthouse situated in Knysna, along South Africa's Garden Route. Perched high above the Knysna Lagoon, the property offers stunning views of the famous Knysna Heads and Thesen Island from its privileged location.

The establishment, owned by Matthias, features seven accommodations in total: six double rooms and one luxury suite. The Storm Suite, designed for families or small groups, includes additional amenities such as a kitchenette.

The property takes its name from the indigenous candlewood tree, known to the Khoisan people as the tree of serenity and calm, reflecting the tranquil atmosphere of the establishment.
