Carriage Cottage is a charming upmarket self-catering holiday rental property located in the coastal town of Kenton-on-Sea, which is situated 130 km north of Port Elizabeth. The town is located between the Kariega and Bushman's Rivers. The cottage is located on the nearest street to the sea, within 4 minutes walking distance from the beaches as well as the Kariega River lagoon, making it perfect for small children and babies. The central business area, restaurants, shops, ATMs, and cafes are all located in close proximity.

The cottage is a beautiful 2-bedroom unit with an open plan living area and a fully equipped kitchen area (kitchenette) with gas plates and electric oven. It also has DSTV. Both double bedrooms are en-suite, with the main bedroom on the ground floor featuring a double bed and a small dressing room, while the second bedroom on the upper floor has two single beds and a dressing room.

A set of French doors opens onto a sunny courtyard with picnic tables and benches situated between the cottage and the main house, sheltered from the wind. If the main house has not been rented, the garages, one of which has a door opening into the cottage, or the lock-up garage, are available to the guests. Bedding and towels are provided for the cottage, but guests are reminded to bring their own beach towels.

The owners take pride in offering a cozy, warm atmosphere and excellent service, aiming to ensure guests have a pleasant stay. The main bedroom is decorated in an authentic antique style, with the double bed dating from the 18th Century. Down duvets are used in winter to add to the atmosphere in both bedrooms, while the upstairs bedroom has a more modern decor. Two separate entrances allow parents and teenagers full privacy, as the latter can enter without passing through the parents' room.
