Cavers Country Home is a 4 Star graded luxury accommodation located in a 140-year-old double-storey manor house and thatched garden cottage, situated in a magnificent garden and mountain setting. The stone-built guest house was constructed in 1860, as evidenced by its spacious rooms, high ceilings, wooden floors, and wooden staircase, exuding a sense of graciousness seldom found in modern times.

The house has been meticulously modernized to the highest standards, providing all modern conveniences without compromising its essential ambiance. All rooms are equipped with DStv and Wi-Fi. Guests can choose from four luxuriously appointed en-suite bedrooms, each offering delightful views of either the garden or the beautiful Cowie River valley and the mountains beyond.

The property features a huge, comfortably furnished lounge with a fireplace, creating a cozy atmosphere on cold nights. For the convenience of guests, there is a separate sitting room equipped with a television and an honesty bar. The gracious dining room overlooks a patio and a private garden with a large swimming pool, reserved exclusively for guest use.

Additionally, the grounds include a charming cottage offering two spacious and comfortable en-suite bedrooms. The kitchen serves fine country cuisine, including farm lamb, beef, and venison, prepared to the guests' preferences, accompanied by a selection of fresh farm vegetables. Candlelit dinners are served in the dining room of the main stone double-storey homestead, while traditional barbecues around the pool or in the veld under the African stars are also available.

English or continental breakfasts are served on the patio or in the guest dining room, featuring homemade bread, butter, preserves, cheese, and yogurts. Guests can enjoy a variety of activities, such as tennis on a clay court, hikes and walks through forests and hills, game viewing, birdwatching with 250 species to spot, mountain bike trails, fishing for bass and trout, and swimming.

The en-suite bedrooms feature high ceilings and an air of Old World romance, fitted with all modern conveniences.
