Chameleon Bush Lodge

Chameleon Bush Lodge, a 4-star graded establishment, opened its doors on December 3, 2015, in the malaria-free central region of the Dinokeng Game Reserve, located 40 km north of Pretoria. The lodge is situated within the 21,000-hectare reserve, which is notable for being the first free-roaming Big 5 game reserve in Gauteng Province since September 2011.

The property offers various accommodation options with a total capacity of 26 guests. The Water Tower section features five "bachelor pad" layout chalets, complemented by four one-bedroom chalets and two family chalets. All units are tastefully decorated with unique finishes and different color schemes, featuring top-range quality fittings, equipment, and linens. Each unit comes with a fully equipped kitchen and a built-in braai on its covered patio.

The lodge's Clubhouse is equipped with an undercover lounge/dining area that can accommodate 30-40 guests, featuring hand-crafted oregan furniture. The facility includes a fully equipped kitchen, bar counter, built-in braai, and swimming pool. These facilities are available to groups booking the entire lodge and are serviced daily.

The property is home to abundant wildlife, including a colony of springhare that are active in early evenings. Guests can enjoy game viewing from their patios or observe animals at nearby waterholes. Activities include guided bush walks, game drives by professional rangers, and access to a 140 km self-drive route through the reserve.

Each accommodation unit features air conditioning, DStv, private entrances, en-suite bathrooms, and most have outdoor showers. The family units offer two en-suite bedrooms each, while the one-bedroom chalets provide spacious living areas. Daily housekeeping services are provided for all units, ensuring a comfortable stay for guests in this unique bushveld environment.
