Chianti Self-Catering

Chianti Self-Catering is a non-smoking, self-catering unit located in the beautiful fisherman's village of Port Edward, the last town on the South Coast. It provides a relaxed environment where guests' needs are assured to be met, offering excellent value for money. The owners reside on the property and are available for any assistance.

There are two units, fully fenced with secured parking and direct access to a private entrance, allowing guests to come and go as they please. The units are homely decorated, and the kitchens, with their granite tops, are fully equipped to meet the needs of any aspiring chef. Each spacious bedroom has ample built-in cupboards.

Guests can relax in the comfort of their own beautiful apartment or on the covered patios, enjoy rewarding sundowners, and utilize the designated smoking area while having a braai. Although there is no access to a pool, guests can catch a glimpse of the Indian Ocean and be amused by regular visits from troops of Vervet monkeys.

Port Edward is a famous fishing destination, offering both deep-sea and rock fishing opportunities. Guests can enjoy typical seaside activities on the beautiful Silver Beach. The town is centrally located to many South Coast attractions, including Lake Eland, Oribi Gorge, Umtamvuna Nature Reserve, Leopard Rock, Beaver Creek Coffee farm, and the Wild Coast Sun, among others. The new Wild Waves Water World is a great attraction located just 8 kilometers away. For keen golfers, there is a choice of nearby golf courses.

The units consist of two bedrooms, one with a queen-size bed and the second with two single beds. There is one bathroom with a bath and shower. Each unit has a patio for braais and a garage. Openview TV is provided. Please note that this is a residential area, and parties, loud music, and noise are not allowed.
