Chicuanga Resort Lda

The Chicuanga Resort is situated on the scenic east coast of Mozambique, 250 kilometers north of Maputo, nestled amongst coastal dunes and inland lakes. This unique location provides visitors with diverse recreational opportunities including bird watching, quad biking, snorkeling, swimming, and spear fishing.

The resort offers a range of self-catering accommodation options, with villas varying in capacity from 6 to 12 sleepers. The 6-sleeper villas feature two double beds and two single beds, while larger units accommodate groups of 8, 10, and 12 people with various bed configurations available. All villas are spacious and designed to cater to different group sizes and family arrangements.

The resort operates year-round with distinct seasonal variations. The rainy season occurs between October and April with temperatures ranging from 27 to 29 degrees, while the dry season runs from May to September with temperatures between 18 and 20 degrees. On-site amenities include a shop and restaurant with credit card facilities, medical facilities, and a reception where guests can obtain fishing and boat licenses. The resort also features a registered safe launch site for boats and jet skis.

Several attractions are accessible from the resort, including Xai-xai (45 minutes away), Paraiso de Chidenguile (40 minutes), Kings Pools (30 minutes), Paradise Palms (90 minutes), and Nacer do Sol (15 minutes). Airport transfer services are available upon request.
