Chinaka Game Lodge

Chinaka Game Lodge is a secluded private game lodge situated in the heart of the Bushveld in Limpopo Province, South Africa. Located between Vivo and Alldays, the lodge is approximately 3.5 hours' drive from Pretoria and 60km from the Mapungubwe World Heritage Site, making it an ideal stopover for travelers heading to Botswana.

The accommodation consists of seven units in total: four thatched chalets, each featuring one bedroom with en-suite bathroom, air-conditioning, bar fridge, television, small safe, and WiFi; three Luna eco Lodge units with en-suite bathrooms, air-conditioning, and WiFi, sharing a communal kitchen and braai area; and the Sunbird Cottage, a two-bedroom unit with its own kitchen, barbecue area, and private garden.

The main lodge features a deck overlooking a waterhole, providing excellent opportunities for wildlife and bird watching. Visitors can observe various species coming to drink, and game drives offer chances to spot diverse wildlife including giraffe, zebra, kudu, eland, leopard, cheetah, gemsbok, and nyala. Additional activities include game walks and hikes, culminating in sundowners.

The facility is well-equipped with modern amenities including a backup generator, bar/lounge, secured parking, conference facilities, laundry service, outdoor pool, restaurant, and BBQ/picnic area. The property also features an airfield with a north/south sand runway, spanning 900 meters in length and 10 meters in width, situated at an elevation of 799 meters.
