Clarens Cottage

Clarens Cottage is a self-catering accommodation located in the heart of Clarens, South Africa. It offers a tranquil retreat for travelers seeking a peaceful and rejuvenating getaway. The establishment is situated a 10-minute walk from the vibrant village center, making it an ideal base to explore the charming town.

The cottage is designed to cater to the needs of guests, with two tastefully appointed bedrooms, two bathrooms, and an inviting open-plan kitchen and living area. It can accommodate up to four guests comfortably. The main bedroom features a luxurious queen-size bed and an en-suite bathroom with amenities, while the second bedroom offers versatile sleeping arrangements with two single beds that can be converted into a king-size bed upon request.

Both bathrooms are well-appointed and include towels, shampoo, hand and body wash. Additionally, both bedrooms are equipped with hairdryers and digital safety lock boxes. For families traveling with infants, a camping cot with bedding is available upon request. The cottage also provides electric blankets on all beds and freestanding cooling and heating fans for added comfort.

The fully equipped kitchen facilitates self-catering with a stove, oven, fridge-freezer, microwave, and ample cutlery and crockery. Guests can enjoy breakfast at the convenient breakfast bar and indulge in complimentary tea or coffee. The spacious dining area seats four people, while the cozy lounge area features plush couches, a wall-mounted flat-screen TV with DStv Premium channels, and a freestanding closed fireplace for added ambiance.

Outside, guests can relax on the covered patio and braai area, where Weber braai facilities are available for use (briquettes, firelighters, and wood are not included). The single lockable garage offers secure parking and doubles as a suitable space for pets to stay, with access to a fully enclosed and secure garden area. Small dogs (maximum of two) are welcome to accompany guests during their stay, with a mandatory pet fee of R250 per stay payable directly to the owner. Pets should not be left unattended in the guesthouse.

Clarens Cottage provides internet access and is GHA (SA) accredited, ensuring high standards of quality and service. Daily cleaning services can be arranged at an additional cost.
