Located just 200m from the Village Square, the property includes TREAT, their fully licensed à la carte restaurant, which serves contemporary French-Country cuisine using fresh, seasonal, and local produce. The restaurant's menu regularly changes to reflect seasonal availability from local suppliers.

Clarens itself is rich in history and attractions, with the iconic Titanic Rock guarding its entrance, named in 1912 when the village was officially proclaimed. The town features numerous restaurants, authentic shops, and art galleries housed in historic buildings from the early 1900s. The nearby Golden Gate Highlands National Park, situated 17km east, is home to Massospondylus fossils dating back over 180 million years. The area offers various activities including heritage site visits, Anglo-Boer War site tours, paleontology explorations, and Bushman rock-art viewing.

The retreat's position, approximately three and a half hours' drive from Johannesburg, Durban, and Bloemfontein, makes it an accessible destination for visitors from major South African cities.
