Cleopatra Mountain Farmhouse, one of the originators of the Country House movement in the 1980s, was opened by Richard and Mouse after they travelled overseas and absorbed the 'foodie' world. It is an intimate gourmet getaway that offers warm mohair blankets, crisp cotton sheets, a dining room, and a fireplace in the lounge. The farmhouse provides vegetables, freshly caught trout, local cheeses, homemade breads, and fresh herbs. It also features a trout-filled dam and an underground wine cellar, allowing guests to choose the right wine and prepare their senses for great tastes and flavors.

Cleopatra Mountain Farmhouse features a splendid setting with views of the mountains, crystal clear streams, and waterfalls. It is tucked away in the beautiful Kamberg valley, close to the Giant's Castle Nature Reserve, offering various mountain pursuits such as swimming, walking, and hiking. The farmhouse is known for its peace, tranquility, and solitude, and it hosts small and intimate weddings, accommodating up to 60 guests at the reception. It offers a six-course fine dining experience, and its gardens are available for outdoor ceremonies.
