Colin’S Horseback Africa

Colin's Horseback Africa is a privately owned game reserve located in Cullinan. It offers horse-riding safaris, walking safaris, and opportunities to touch lions. Guests have the freedom to follow wildlife on horseback, as opposed to being restricted to roads and pathways when traveling by vehicle.

The reserve features a lodge with six en-suite rooms, offering guests a sense of being one with nature. It has a campfire area for sharing bushveld stories, a restaurant called the Wild Horse Restaurant, and a swimming pool for relaxation.

Additionally, there is a secluded cottage called the Bushman's Cottage, hidden away between large boulders. This cottage provides a complete off-the-grid experience with no electricity, an outdoor hot water shower, a flush toilet, one room with a double bed, and another room with a sleeper couch.

Colin's Horseback Africa has well-trained horses suitable for riders of all levels, including first-time riders. The horses are trained in the Western style and equipped with comfortable trail rider or English General Purpose saddles.

For guests who prefer hiking, the reserve offers well-marked trails that lead past scenic dams and quiet bird hides, providing opportunities to observe abundant birdlife, wildlife, and picturesque landscapes.

The lodge offers various activities to keep guests engaged, such as full body massages and hot stone massages. Additionally, guests have the opportunity to interact closely with some animals on the privately owned game reserve.
