Compass View is a newly renovated cottage located in the heart of Nieu-Bethesda, offering a unique blend of historical charm and modern comfort. The property can accommodate up to 7 guests across three bedrooms, each featuring its own en-suite bathroom. The main bedroom includes a queen-size bed with both a walk-in shower and slipper bath, while the second bedroom offers a queen-size bed and en-suite with walk-in shower, plus direct access to the back patio and garden. The third bedroom contains two single beds (with the option of adding a third) and an en-suite bathroom featuring a classic clawfoot bath.

The cottage maintains its historical character through its original mud-brick walls, which provide natural insulation, keeping the interior warm in winter and cool in summer. Modern amenities include electric blankets, heaters, fans, and hairdryers in all rooms. The open-plan kitchen and lounge area features a Morso fireplace, creating an inviting atmosphere for guests.

Outdoor spaces include a front patio offering mountain views and a traditional 'leivoor' water system, where guests can occasionally spot free-roaming horses. The large, tree-shaded garden provides an ideal play area for children, while the spacious BBQ entertainment area is perfect for outdoor dining under the Karoo stars.
