Coombs Camp is a tented bush-camp situated approximately 20 minutes on the East London side of Grahamstown, roughly halfway between Durban and Cape Town. It consists of eight beds located in a secluded Eastern Cape valley-forest. The reserve is abundant with a variety of bird species and small game, making it an ideal retreat for nature lovers.

The lodge is set on an 80-hectare property that is stocked with small game. It is not a typical Big 5 reserve with lions, champagne game drives, and the like. Instead, it is a self-catering territory where guests are responsible for their own cooking and entertainment around the pool and braai area.

The comfortably appointed twin-bedded luxury safari tents are set in forest thickets, adjacent to the main lodge and pool. All sites have private shower and toilet facilities in canvas-under-thatch units adjacent to the tents.

There are two twin-bedded safari tents facing each other, separated by a 3-meter wooden deck. The main unit has a double bed, while the children's unit can accommodate up to three single beds. The site is serviced by a private shower and toilet set adjacent to the tent site and has electric lighting.

Additionally, there are two more twin-bedded luxury safari tents set on a private site in secluded valley bushveld. Each tent is serviced by a private shower and toilet in a canvas-under-thatch unit adjacent to the site, which also has electric lighting.
