Coot Club

Coot Club is a facility located between the green slopes of the Maanschynkop mountains and a spit of land bordered by the glittering waters of the Walker Bay Nature Reserve, where the bird-rich Klein River flows. It is tucked into the milkwood forest that fringes the southern banks, overlooking the tranquil lagoon waters, and within reach of Walker Bay, where Southern Right whales nurse their calves from July to November.

Coot Club offers experiences as diverse as the species it nurtures, catering to both sedentary nature lovers and those who prefer more active pursuits such as paddling, cycling, or swimming. It also caters to foodies who wish to explore the gastronomic wonders and charming streetscapes of nearby Stanford village. The facility provides a choice of activities or the freedom to do nothing, with views that empty the mind, birds that encourage reading, and the sound of the halyard clanking in the wind or the calm silence of a wild encounter.

Mosaic Farm, associated with Coot Club, is the ideal place for a perfect celebration, where the true essence of the bride and groom is center stage, with Mosaic as the backdrop. The Milkwood Spa at Mosaic, found at the Lagoon Lodge facility, offers indulgent pampering and spa therapies, including ELEMIS BioTec Facials and Product line, as well as manicures and pedicures done using OPI Regular or Gel Polish.

Coot Club borders a secluded part of the Walker Bay Nature Reserve, providing pristine and private access to beach adventures and unforgettable views of sky, sand, and sea. It offers a spacious 3-bedroom home perfect for 4 adults and 2 children, with an open plan lounge featuring a fireplace, dining and kitchen area that leads out onto a lawn with endless views of the Lagoon to the mountains beyond.
