Copper Moon Game Lodge

Copper Moon Game Lodge is a game farm situated on the northern border of Addo Elephant National Park, south of Somerset East in the Eastern Cape, South Africa. It is located in a malaria-free area and comprises 8,500 hectares of mixed Karoo veld with rolling hills, dense valley bush, montane grass, and fynbos in the deep valleys of the Zuurberg. The property is well-developed with a network of roads, offering thrilling game viewing drives and scenic views from the high regions. It is adjacent to the Big 5 Game Reserve Kuzuko Lodge.

The lodge offers self-catering accommodation in the form of a comfortable farmhouse with three bedrooms, each with an en-suite bathroom. It has a large open-plan kitchen, dining area, and lounge, as well as an extended verandah suitable for outdoor meals and braai (barbecue) sessions. The lodge is powered by solar electricity and equipped with gas-fired hot water and a stove, providing modern comforts. It nestles in a deep valley surrounded by bush, creating an African atmosphere.

Guests have access to the entire lodge and the game farm. A host is available to assist with game drives, plant and animal identification, and to ensure that guests feel at home. It is worth noting that the property is off-the-grid, with no TV, Wi-Fi, or mobile phone reception, allowing guests to truly relax and get away from it all. However, mobile reception is available within 200 meters of the lodge on a nearby hill.
