Cottages@Moffett

Cottages@Moffett is a four-star establishment located between Johannesburg and Cape Town on the N1. The accommodation includes three self-catering cottages equipped with solar electricity. Each cottage features a complimentary welcome tea and coffee tray with delicious plunger coffee and rusks, a kitchenette with an induction plate, fridge, microwave, kettle, and toaster, and a modern en-suite bathroom. The cottages also have their own braai facilities, flat-screen televisions with full DStv access, and free Wi-Fi Internet access.

The cottages can be used as a base to explore Central South Africa. Children are welcome, with day beds available in the Lavender and Protea Cottages, and camping cots provided on request. Solar power provides electricity to the cottages during loadshedding.

Each cottage has a queen-size bed fitted with down duvets and a modern en-suite bathroom with a shower, basin, toilet, towels, and guest toiletries. The self-catering kitchenette allows for preparing light meals or heating take-aways. Each unit has its own braai facilities, a flat-screen television with full DStv access and a TV box streaming Disney Plus and Netflix, free Wi-Fi internet access, and an air-conditioner.

A healthy breakfast box can be requested for an additional fee of R160 per person. It includes a yogurt, cereal packet, bread roll with cold meat, muffin with jam and cheese, a fruit, and a coffee stick or juice.
