Crags Cottage

Crags Cottage is a delightful cottage located in the Kamberg area of the Natal Midlands, on the shores of the new Springrove Dam. It provides an ideal place for relaxation and recharging in the rolling hills with a view of the dam and the mountains, offered at reasonable rates.

The cottage can accommodate up to a maximum of five guests. It consists of two bedrooms, two bathrooms, a kitchen, a lounge, and a dining room. The main bedroom features a double bed, while the second bedroom contains a single bed and an overhead divan. An additional guest can be accommodated on a daybed in the lounge area. Both bathrooms are en-suite and equipped with a shower, basin, and toilet.

The kitchen is fully equipped for self-catering purposes, including a stove, microwave oven, and a refrigerator-freezer combo. The comfortable lounge area features a fireplace for cozy evenings. There is a large veranda with portable braai facilities, and carport parking is available. Crags Cottage is now off-grid, ensuring guests are not inconvenienced by load shedding.

The recently established Vaalekop eco trail, a circular route, provides a beautiful walking experience from the property, extending onto adjoining properties, with much of the distance being near the edge of the dam. However, it is important to note that there are a few steep sections along the trail.

Additional persons are charged at a rate of R200.00 per person per night.
