Craigleith Beach Cottage

The Craigleith Beach Cottage is a holiday cottage situated on an island at Great Brak River, right on the beach with an unobstructed view of the ocean and lagoon. It is located along the garden route, halfway between George and Mossel Bay, approximately a 15-minute drive from George airport.

The cottage offers two large bedrooms with queen-size beds and basins. There is a family room with a double bunk and two single beds, as well as a small cozy room with a double bunk. Additionally, there is a separate cabin with two single beds, which does not have an en-suite bathroom but is close to an outside shower and toilet.

The cottage features two bathrooms, in addition to the mentioned outside facilities, which include two showers, two toilets, and one bath. The kitchen, lounge, dining room, and TV lounge are open-plan, overlooking the beach. The accommodation can sleep up to 12 guests.

Facilities at the cottage include a TV with the option of DStv, a gas stove, microwave, dishwasher, fridge/freezer, and washing machine. There is also a Weber braai available for outdoor cooking. The garden gate leads directly onto the beach and lagoon, and there is a tennis court on the island as well as a spacious child-friendly playground. Access to the island is over a single vehicle bridge, and there are three allocated parking bays just meters from the cottage.

The Craigleith Beach Cottage is a private and secluded holiday spot with easy access to shops and restaurants. It is a self-catering and pet-friendly accommodation. The laundering of bed linen after guests' departure is included. Any breakages should be reported upon departure, and the cost will be deducted from the breakage deposit.
