Croc River View

Croc River View is a comfortable bush lodge constructed entirely with natural materials, creating a sense of being at home in the bush. The house features a unique design where the main living area is situated on the first floor, while most bedrooms are located downstairs. The upstairs living area comprises a modern open-plan kitchen, a dining room, and a leather lounge suite. This area seamlessly flows onto a covered patio and barbecue area, allowing for al fresco dining. The lodge features an en-suite splash pool and a large sun deck equipped with comfy deck chairs for soaking up the rays.

The lodge is self-catering and provides all modern appliances and kitchen fittings, allowing guests to enjoy their holiday in the style they are accustomed to. Both wood and charcoal barbecues are available on the upstairs patio for dining and relaxation. The elevated position of the lodge offers great views over the river and ensures a pleasant breeze to keep guests cool.

The master bedroom, located on the first floor, features an open-plan double bath and basin, a private double shower, and an en-suite toilet and bidet room. The bath is positioned alongside a large folding door, allowing guests to enjoy a bath while feeling immersed in the bush, or they can utilize the separate outdoor shower.

Downstairs, there are two large double bedrooms with queen-size beds and en-suite bathrooms, as well as a third bedroom with four single beds. The downstairs area also includes a large lounge and a TV to keep children entertained in the evenings. A covered patio, garage, carport, and a boma for evening campfires and bush braais are also available.

The third level of the lodge features a game viewing deck with seating for up to eight people, offering an opportunity to sip drinks while observing hippos in the Crocodile River and rhinos in the Kruger National Park on the opposite bank. The lodge provides a truly fantastic opportunity to relax, enjoy the company of friends, and revel in the unspoiled bush and animal life. Amenities include armed response, standby security, and DStv. All linen, towels, basic coffee, and tea are supplied.
