Crocodile Bend

Crocodile Bend is a self-catering lodge that can accommodate up to eight people. It is located on the 4000-hectare Mjejane Reserve, approximately a 60-minute drive from Nelspruit's Kruger Mpumalanga International Airport. The lodge offers a beautiful view of the Kruger National Park and is situated on the banks of the Crocodile River, allowing guests to experience the sights and sounds of the bush.

The lodge is uniquely decorated to provide a homely feel and cater to guests' needs. It features private parking, a fully equipped kitchen, an indoor fireplace, an outdoor barbecue/braai area, a swimming pool, a sunset deck, WiFi, DSTV, fans, and air-conditioning. Daily room service is provided, and each room has an en-suite bathroom and an outside shower. The lodge includes an open-plan lounge, dining area, kitchen, bar, and study. Outside, there is a covered patio, swimming pool, sunset deck, barbecue/braai facilities, and a boma for an authentic braai experience.

Included in the stay are daily morning or evening game drives led by a knowledgeable ranger, enhancing the bush experience. The lodge has its own game vehicle, and guests can participate in drives within the Mjejane Game Reserve or the Kruger National Park for a fee of R8 per kilometer driven. A deposit for the game drives will be requested upon booking, and any excess amount will be refunded.

The lodge is situated near the Malalane and Komatipoort golf courses, which are highly regarded and offer a great opportunity for enthusiastic golfers to relax. The spacious house has four bedrooms, two with queen-size beds and two with two three-quarter beds each, accommodating up to eight people. It provides a relaxing environment away from the city lights and busy activities, allowing families to enjoy quality time together.
