Crooked Tree Cottage

Crooked Tree Cottage is a bed and breakfast and self-catering establishment situated in the heart of Umhlanga, one of the premier holiday accommodation hotspots in South Africa. It is located in close proximity to Umhlanga Village and its beaches. The establishment is also near Oceans Mall, Gateway Theatre of Shopping, Durban Central Business District, and the ICC. Additionally, it is situated close to Umhlanga New Town Centre, La Lucia Ridge office park, the M4 highway, and the N2 highway, providing efficient access to Durban and the rest of KwaZulu Natal.

The establishment offers accommodation in one cottage with three suites and three deluxe suites. These suites are typically let as bed and breakfast accommodation for most of the year, but they are also well-suited for self-catering holidays. The cottage can accommodate six to seven guests, while the deluxe suites can accommodate two adults each. Each deluxe suite opens onto a balcony with views of the swimming pool and the sea. Two cottage suites face the sea, while the third one faces the garden.

For guests staying on a bed and breakfast basis, a full English breakfast and a variety of omelettes are offered, with ingredients sourced from reputable suppliers to ensure high-quality breakfasts. The cottage consists of three en-suite bedrooms, each equipped with a TV with commercial DStv. The lounge also features commercial DStv and Netflix. There is a double sleeper couch in the lounge if required. The unit has its own entrance, a deck area, and a small garden area where guests can braai. Sea views can be enjoyed from most rooms, including the lounge. Guests also have access to the swimming pool, and the beach is about a 10-minute walk away. The unit is serviced daily, except on public holidays.
