The Cunningham Cottage is situated along a rivulet that originates from The Eye, a natural spring that partially flows through the property. This phenomenon supplies 20 million litres of water daily to the town of Kuruman and has never ceased in capacity over the years. The owners, Gert and Bernice Kotze, are the hosts who look forward to welcoming guests, believing that "the ornament of our guest house is the people who grace it".

The stone cottage features nine en-suite rooms, each decorated with care and comfort in mind. The rooms are built around the main house and have individual private entrances. The establishment offers a full English and continental breakfast, as well as lunch packs on request. Safe parking is available on the premises.

A notable attraction near Kuruman is the White and Roaring Sands Nature Reserve, where the sand roars when it is dry. Kuruman, also known as the Oasis of the Kalahari, lies on the main route between Gauteng, Namibia, and Cape Town via Upington. This part of South Africa is a medley of unspoiled beauty to experience.

Every room is equipped with an air conditioner, DStv, a small fridge, and tea/coffee facilities. All rooms have en-suite bathrooms and are beautifully furnished, spacious, and comfortable.
