Cycasia Lodge

Cycasia Lodge is a self-catering establishment located in the coastal town of Pumula on the KwaZulu-Natal South Coast. It offers accommodation options including individual bachelor units and a main house divided into three or four bedrooms, catering to both small and large groups. The lodge provides various types of accommodations such as hotels, self-catering units, bed and breakfasts, guest houses, and lodges.

Surrounded by a lush tropical garden, the lodge is situated a short distance away from the Blue Flag beach, making it an ideal base for a vacation. The open-plan bachelor units are tastefully furnished, featuring a comfortable double bed in the bedroom area and a sleeper couch in the lounge area. Each unit is equipped with a well-equipped kitchenette including essential amenities.

For special occasions or events, Cycasia Lodge offers an outside entertainment area that can accommodate 30 to 60 people, ensuring a seamless and memorable experience. The lodge also provides function hire services upon request. Guests can enjoy the expansive gardens, which boast a delightful outside braai area, allowing them to indulge in a traditional South African BBQ. Off-street parking is available for the convenience of guests.

At Cycasia Lodge, the management strives to provide guests with a comfortable and enjoyable stay. Daily cleaning services are available for an additional fee, ensuring a relaxed and carefree atmosphere. Guests are kindly requested to bring their own beach towels. The lodge offers free Wi-Fi, and the rooms do not have TVs. Catering services for breakfast and dinner can be arranged upon request, with separate pricing.

The property features a sunken garden and pool area that can accommodate up to 80 guests. An adjacent area can accommodate a 300-seater marquee. The accommodation on-site currently caters to up to 12 guests, with plans to increase capacity in the future. Catering and marquee hire can be arranged locally upon request. The lodge features a beautiful, tranquil garden setting, offering a serene environment for guests.

One of the units at Cycasia Lodge is an open-plan unit with a kitchen dining area, separate lounge, and two bedrooms featuring one queen-size bed and one double bed. Additional beds or bunk bed combinations can be added upon request. The unit has a shared bathroom with a shower. It also features an outside verandah and braai area overlooking the pool and sunken garden. Please note that this unit does not have disabled access. The kitchen is fully fitted with a stove, oven, microwave, and a fridge freezer. During peak seasons, a minimum rate may be applicable for this unit.
