Cypress Cottage

Cypress Cottage is a set of two charming cottages dating back to the 1800s. They blend authentic Karoo style and ambience with modern comforts. The cottages have been beautifully restored and furnished with antiques. They are situated facing each other across a shady, quiet, and picturesque street of the town.

Each cottage has its own private garden, and all rooms are air-conditioned with en-suite bathrooms, white linen, DStv, and fresh flowers from the lovely garden. The rate includes a full Karoo breakfast consisting of cereals, yogurt, fruits from the orchard, free-range eggs, bacon, and sausage. Swimming facilities are available in the borehole-fed dam, and secure off-street parking is provided.

Cypress Cottage is located right next to the nature reserve and located in the shadow of Spandau's Kop. An easy walk leads guests into the heart of Karoo nature. The town center is just a 10-minute walk away, where staff can organize dinners at various good restaurants. The town, considered the gem of the Karoo, warrants a two-night stopover.

The double room features a double bed, an en-suite bathroom with a separate tub and shower, Wi-Fi access, a TV with DStv, and air-conditioning.
