De Emigratie is a beautiful working farm surrounded by hills and old acorn trees. It is situated outside of Ermelo off the N2 highway. The farm serves as an ideal stopover between KwaZulu-Natal and the Kruger National Park, as well as a peaceful break destination. The farm offers comfortable self-catering cottage accommodation, suitable for families or groups of friends.

The farm features a wide range of seasonal activities, including sheep farming and shearing in October, as well as apple picking and packing between January and May. Lovely historical guided tours and landmarks along hiking trails are available. Adventure activities such as night rides for small game, tractor and trailer rides, mudslinging/kleilat gooi, and tube rides down the river are also offered.

The De Emigratie Garden Cottage is situated in the garden between large trees, accommodating up to six guests comfortably. The cottage comprises three bedrooms, one bathroom, a fully equipped kitchen, and an open-plan living area. Bedding and towels are provided. There is a sunny patio area with braai facilities.
