De Hoek Country Lodge

De Hoek Country Lodge is located 15 kilometers from the historic town of Heidelberg in Gauteng, situated on 385 hectares of land. It offers visitors the opportunity to find contentment through experiencing beautiful nature and scenic views. The farm is home to various game species, including Wildebeest, Zebra, Eland, Rooihartbeest, Blesbok, Springbok, Grey Reedbuck, and other indigenous small game.

De Hoek Country Lodge is also an excellent destination for bird watching, as the area is home to many bird species. The secretary bird has been spotted on several occasions. The lodge's convenient proximity to the N3 Durban highway makes it an ideal stopover, offering easy access to Johannesburg and the necessary conveniences.

The lodge features 9 luxurious double rooms with en-suite bathrooms, built utilizing the charming buildings and structures that were erected on the original farm. One of the double rooms has been designed to accommodate persons in a wheelchair. All rooms are equipped with a bar fridge and a kettle.

De Hoek Country Lodge offers conference facilities and serves as a venue for weddings and functions. It provides a chapel (indoor, veldt or bush) and a venue area that can accommodate a maximum of 130 guests, with no minimum requirement. Catering options are available for the bridal party.

The lodge's luxurious double rooms offer views to the east, allowing guests to enjoy an early morning sunrise.
