De Kleine Serengeti Game Lodge

De Kleine Serengeti Game Lodge is situated on prime land in the Dinokeng free roaming big 5 game reserve. The lodge borders the Pienaars River on one side and the tar road to Rust de Winter dam on the other. It offers 10 luxury, self-catering, one-bedroom chalets that are fully furnished and equipped with braai/barbeque facilities, a fully equipped kitchen, bathroom, and TV with MNET Movie and Sport Channels, providing visitors with all they would need.

The lodge also has 4 comfortable air-conditioned rooms that accommodate a maximum of 2 people per room. Each room has an en-suite bathroom, queen bed, and walk-in shower with the finest amenities. What makes De Kleine Serengeti special is a lovely dam with hundreds of ducks and beyond that a grass plain where game can be seen for most of the day without leaving the comfort of the lodge. From here, visitors can view Eland, Buffalo, Kudu, Ostrich, Giraffe, Zebra, Wildebeest, and many more game and bird species.

Game drives are available for those in search of more elusive animals such as leopard, lion, and cheetah. Self-drive is also available. Game viewing drives are offered throughout the day, with pre-bookings essential. Drives take about 2 hours, and snacks and beverages are supplied. The rate is R 350.00 per person with a minimum of 4 people.

De Kleine Serengeti Family House has 5 comfortable rooms that can accommodate a maximum of 2 guests per room. Each room is furnished with a queen-size bed and features an en-suite bathroom fitted with a walk-in shower. Each room has air-conditioning, a fan, a heater, bar fridge, and tea- and coffee-making facilities. This self-catering chalet has a fully equipped kitchen with a wonderful view toward the dam and its own private patio with a braai/barbeque. Unfortunately, there are no TVs in these rooms.
