De Oude Putz

De Oude Putz is a farm situated in the northern part of the Bushmanland region and located to the west of the Orange River Valley. It offers camping accommodations on a farm property, featuring various activities and scenic surroundings. The farm is situated 35 kilometers from Groblershoop, on the way to Upington. The property comprises four campsites positioned beneath large trees, and firewood is provided for the braai (barbecue) areas. Additionally, there is a communal ablution facility equipped with showers.

Activities available on the farm include hiking, birdwatching, and a 4x4 trail for those with four-wheel-drive vehicles. Those interested in history can explore the opportunity to view the graves of the San, a nomadic Stone Age tribe, located in the caves on the property. Each campsite is equipped with its own braai facilities and situated under a large tree. Ablution facilities with hot water are available, but there is no electricity provided.
