De Pakhuys Guest Farm is situated in the Agter-Pakhuis Valley, 26 kilometers from Clanwilliam en route to the historic Wuperthal village. The property, owned by the Kruger and Botha families, was established after the Kruger family's visit to the area in 2003, when they decided to acquire land in the valley and renovate existing cottages to share the Cedarberg's beauty with visitors.

The establishment is managed by partners Thys and Karin Kruger, along with Mark and Marinda Botha. The accommodation offerings include 10 self-catering cottages, 3 glamping cabins, and a campsite featuring 11 sites, a permanent caravan, and 4 wooden cabins. All units are well-equipped with modern amenities including air conditioning, bathroom facilities, coffee/tea stations, voltage adaptors, full kitchens, microwaves, patios, refrigerators, separate tubs and showers, sitting areas, wi-fi, and fireplaces. A wood-fired hot tub is available on the premises.

The property features various accommodation options, including the Janfrederik luxury thatched glamping tent with an en-suite bathroom and shared kitchen facilities, basic campsite cabins with shared ablution facilities, and the Boskmap secluded glamping tent with private kitchen facilities. The campsite area, nestled among Bluegum trees near a lake, provides ample shade and can accommodate up to six guests per site. All accommodations are set against the backdrop of the majestic Cederberg mountains, offering guests a unique blend of comfort and natural beauty.
