De Tijger Lodge

De Tijger Lodge is nestled at the foot of the Tygerberg Hills in Cape Town's De Tijger suburb. The establishment, owned by Deon and Johann, enjoys a convenient location just 8.6 km from Cape Town International Airport, with easy access to the N1 Freeway, Cape winelands, golf courses, Cape Town CBD, and medical facilities. The area's name, Tygerberg (de Tijger), originates from early settlers who mistakenly identified local leopards as tigers.

The lodge features nine well-appointed rooms, each decorated to high standards with 100% Egyptian cotton linen (400 thread count). All rooms are equipped with modern amenities including coffee stations, bar fridges, and full DStv bouquet. The accommodations range from standard double and twin rooms to semi-catering family rooms with sleeper couches, all featuring en-suite bathrooms with showers.
