De Villa Resort

De Villa River Resort is a family-friendly resort situated along the river and merely 4 km from the Loskop Dam. It offers various facilities and accommodations suitable for family vacations and ensuring children's entertainment.

The resort features 8 well-equipped chalets providing a relaxed place to rest and unwind. These chalets are equipped with air conditioning, kitchens, and private bathrooms, offering ample facilities for guests to enjoy. Additionally, there are 22 campsites with individual braai areas and electricity, complemented by a communal ablution block.

The resort features a fully licensed bar with DStv and restaurant facilities. It also has a thatched-roof lapa with braai facilities, ideal for private functions. Among the resort's facilities are braai areas, swimming pools, slides, a jungle gym with trampolines for children, and an outdoor overview area suitable for weddings with a maximum of 50 guests.

When not enjoying the on-site facilities, guests can spend quality time together by taking a stroll along the river banks, engaging in bird watching, and fishing opportunities afforded by the river environment. The resort also offers activities such as Loskop Nature Reserve day visits, braai facilities, Loskop Dam sunset boat trips, and bird watching.

The resort offers winter rates from May 1 to August 31 and summer rates from September 1 to April 30. It is having a romantic atmosphere, with a scenic overview of the Olifant River and picnic spaces along the riverside. Amenities for children include a jumping castle, trampoline, jungle gym, kiddie pool, and hot water pool, as well as fishing opportunities.

The self-catering lodge offers accommodation with 3 bedrooms, each with a double bed and a single bed on top, as well as an additional single bed in each room. It also has 2 bathrooms.
