De Wildt Cheetah Lodge and Adventure Trails is strategically located approximately 30 minutes from Pretoria and 45 minutes from Johannesburg, near Hartbeespoort in South Africa's North West Province. The establishment comprises two distinct venues that offer diverse experiences in the majestic Magaliesberg Mountains.

The Cheetah Lodge features eight sophisticated lodge suites and three glamping-style tents. The lodge rooms are equipped with en-suite bathrooms, coffee bars, and ceiling fans, with flexible bed configurations including king, twin, double, and queen options. Lodge guests have access to rock pools at the Adventure Trails venue. The safari tents include en-suite bathrooms with showers, private patios with picnic benches, and individual braai areas. Tent guests share a communal kitchen, boma, and exclusive splash pool. The tented camp, which can accommodate up to 18 guests when booked exclusively, does not offer Wi-Fi.

The property offers extensive hiking opportunities across both venues, with the Adventure Trails section being particularly notable for its pet-friendly trails. These range from easy to advanced difficulty levels, including a multi-day hiking option with rustic camping facilities. The Cheetah Lodge also serves as an events venue, featuring a chapel, gardens, and conference facilities.

Operating hours vary by season, with extended hours from September to April and shorter hours from May to August. The venues observe different schedules for weekdays and weekends, with the Adventure Trails section being closed Monday through Friday except by appointment. Both locations offer sunrise and sunset hikes by appointment only and are closed on December 25th.

The establishment provides a restaurant and braai facilities, allowing visitors to enjoy meals after their outdoor activities.
