Die Hut

Die Hut is a guest house and farm situated in Morreesburg, a tranquil town located approximately 85 kilometers from Cape Town. The town is known for its peaceful and quiet atmosphere, providing an ideal environment for a relaxing stay. The farm offers accommodation in the form of a guest house with six rooms, a restaurant with a licensed bar, and a wedding venue that includes a chapel. Additionally, it features a swimming pool and large lawns suitable for children to play.

Morreesburg is at the heart of a strong farming community and is home to one of the three wheat museums in the world. A notable attraction in the town is Neulfonteinkop, a hill located just outside the town where an old ship's cannon from bygone days sits, once used to alert farmers of newly docked ships in Cape Town's harbour. The hill offers a hiking trail, and the nearby Misverstand Dam is a popular spot for water sports among locals and visitors.

The farm itself also houses a restaurant and function venue, making it an ideal wedding venue with its on-site chapel and licensed bar. All catering services are provided on the farm premises. The guest house rooms are comfortably furnished with double or single beds. Four rooms have en-suite bathrooms, while two rooms share a single bathroom. Six of the rooms are equipped with DStv (a digital satellite television service), and one room has regular television channels.
