Die Ou Familie Strandhuis

Die Ou Familie Strandhuis is a large beach house located in Stilbaai. It offers a view overlooking the river with its tidal pools, which is a paradise for children, and is situated just 800 meters from the main beach. The house can accommodate up to 11 guests and features 5 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, spacious lounge areas, and a large farmhouse-style kitchen.

The well-equipped kitchen includes a stove, refrigerator, microwave oven, washing machine, and dishwasher. Guests can enjoy their meals at the dining table. There is a separate TV room, and the large lounge area is comfortably furnished with an indoor braai area. Additionally, the house has a freezer on the premises, and safe parking is provided. Please note that pets are not allowed.

Stilbaai offers a range of activities such as swimming, fishing, windsurfing, kitesurfing, sailing, canoeing, and various hiking trails. The area features a rich marine life in the river estuary and a remarkably large variety of birds. It is situated on the migratory whale route, which hosts the highest gathering of whales in the world between July and October every year. The village is also home to a unique eel species that is hand-fed.

The house offers lovely views, and the five bedrooms are furnished with comfortable double or single beds. The rooms share the use of two bathrooms, one of which has a bathtub and shower. The kitchen is equipped with a refrigerator, stove, and oven, and guests can enjoy their meals at the dining table. A washing machine is located in the scullery, and the lounge overlooks the river and is equipped with a TV and an indoor braai area.
