Die Stoep is a self-catering house located in Calitzdorp on Route 62. Its main feature is a large wrap-around stoep (veranda), which is the perfect place to sit and take in the magic that makes up the Karoo. Guests book the entire house, which they have to themselves without sharing.

The house has three bedrooms and can accommodate eight adults and two children. The Ostrich room is the large main bedroom and has a king-size bed and a bunk bed in a separate section. The Meerkat room has a double bed and an en-suite bathroom with a bath, shower, and separate toilet. It opens up onto the stoep with views of the mountains in the distance. The Springbok room has a double bed, and the bathroom, which leads off the bar area, has a shower, basin, and toilet. There is also a sleeper couch in the dining room that sleeps two.

All bedrooms are fitted with percale linen, bath towels, electric blankets, and air conditioners. There is a third separate bathroom with a vintage bath (shower over bath), basin, and toilet. The lounge opens out onto the stoep and has a fireplace, TV with DSTV (Family package), and a DVD machine. The large dining room can seat ten people.

The courtyard is an excellent place for entertaining, with a seating area, a firepit, and an undercover braai (barbecue) area with a table and chairs. The kitchen leads off to one side, and the bar leads off to the other. The kitchen is fully equipped with a stove, refrigerator, microwave, toaster, kettle, steamer, coffee machine, and washing machine, as well as crockery, cutlery, and glassware.

Die Stoep is a large, family-friendly home with a large garden for children and pets, as well as an enclosed, secure courtyard with a splash pool. It is a self-catering Heritage home with three bedrooms and bathrooms (two en-suite), a lounge, dining room, bar, kitchen, and an entertainment area with a built-in braai (barbecue) and firepit. There is also an outside seating area next to the pool.
