Dimalachite Nature Resort and River Lodge is a stunning establishment situated on the banks of the Vaal River, near the town of Parys. It is one of the premier lodges in the area, offering a variety of accommodation options to cater to the needs of every traveler. The resort features luxurious lodges, comfortable chalets, cozy sleeping rooms, and spacious campsites.

The serene lodge is surrounded by the majestic beauty of the Vredefort-Dome World Heritage Site, created by the impact of the largest and oldest known meteorite. Guests can immerse themselves in the tranquil ambiance, relax by the sparkling swimming pool, listen to the melodious sounds of the Malachite kingfisher nesting along the riverbanks, and occasionally hear the call of the magnificent fish eagle.

At Dimalachite, adventure awaits at every turn. The resort offers exciting white-water rafting experiences, allowing guests to explore the river's gentle currents and exhilarating white water rapids. Fishing enthusiasts can enjoy flyfishing and bank fishing in deep holes and rapids, capturing the essence of the moment with a perfect snapshot before releasing their catch back into the water. The resort features 19 non-fishing sites located in the second row, safe from the riverfront. Most of these sites have large trees and shade. The price quoted is for two people, and a maximum of six people per site is allowed, with additional fees for extra guests. The sites are approximately 10m by 10m and have normal 3-pin electricity sockets. Most campsites have grass and trees for shade, although some sites with large trees may have less grass. The resort has three ladies' and three men's ablution blocks, which are well-maintained and cleaned regularly by staff. Three sculleries with warm and cold water are available for dish washing.

All sites offer a lovely view of the river, and braai facilities are available on each site. Taps scattered throughout the camp provide clean borehole water, and the kiosk sells bottled water.
