Dinkweng Safari Camp

Dinkweng Safari Camp is a wildlife sanctuary located in the UNESCO-registered Waterberg Biosphere in Limpopo Province, situated approximately three hours' drive from Johannesburg. The name "Dinkweng" means "place of the leopard," and a wide variety of indigenous game, including giraffes, kudus, and many other animals, can be observed on the property. The camp offers luxurious, bushveld three-bedroom lodges, each equipped with en-suite facilities, splash pools, and extended decks.

Each spacious lodge consists of a modernly appointed kitchen with an open-plan layout, three master en-suite bedrooms, a private pool, a braai area, and a bonfire area. The lodges provide breathtaking views of the picturesque Waterberg Mountains and valleys. Dinkweng Safari Camp resides in the malaria-free Waterberg region of the Limpopo Province and exudes African allure.

The camp offers activities such as game drives, scenic walking trails, and mountain bike routes, allowing guests to immerse themselves in the African bushveld. While being in the bushveld, guests can still enjoy a luxurious experience during their visit to Dinkweng Safari Camp. The Lodge does not host parties (such as matriculation parties, year-end functions, birthday parties, bachelor parties, or any other party) to avoid disturbing the neighbors and bush life, as it is a place to relax and enjoy nature. Loud music is not permitted. It is important to note that there is limited WiFi due to the camp's location.

Additional offerings include guided bush walks to the deck (R50 per person), mountain bike rentals at reception (R50 per person), pre-arranged picnics, and game drives (R100 per person). Children of all ages are welcome, and the camp caters to child entertainment with a collection of children's DVDs, games, and puzzles. The lodges are perfect for families, as most rooms can be set up with twin or double beds.

Amenities include private entrance, swimming pool, private deck, sun deck with loungers, braai facilities, three bedrooms with king-size extra-length beds (single beds can be requested), en-suite bathrooms, bath and swimming towels, lounge, dining room, and cutlery.
