Dolphin Place

Dolphin Place is a self-catering, beachfront accommodation located on the KwaZulu Natal South Coast. It is situated near a narrow strip of indigenous vegetation that separates the property from the beautiful blue flag Southport beach. The beach is popular for fishing and is in close proximity to various amenities such as restaurants, golf courses, bowling greens, and shopping facilities.

The accommodation can accommodate up to 16 people in seven bedrooms and five bathrooms. It has a central communal area that provides access to a north and south wing, each with three bedrooms. The main bedrooms have en-suite shower facilities, while the other two bedrooms share a full bathroom. On the ground floor, there is a separate flatlet that can accommodate four people in two open-plan sleeping areas, along with a shower en-suite, a kitchenette, and a lounge area with TV and full DStv package.

The top floor of the central unit offers a 55m2 open-plan bar and lounge area with a 77-inch flat-screen TV, a state-of-the-art soundbar, and a full DStv package. This room provides breathtaking views of the beach and sea. The middle floor of the central unit includes a dining area that can accommodate 16 people and a fully fitted kitchen equipped with appliances such as a washing machine, tumble dryer, stove, microwave, and a large fridge with a freezer. Large folding doors open from the dining area onto a covered veranda overlooking the beach, with stairs leading down to the ground floor and garden area.

The fully fenced garden features a sparkling pool, a braai area, and an outdoor shower. The garden gate opens directly onto a path leading to the beach, which is only a few meters away. Bedding, bath towels, beach towels, and a starter pack of toiletries, milk, tea, and coffee are provided. The property is pet-friendly and offers secure parking with state-of-the-art security systems, including beams, cameras, and alarms. It is a non-smoking establishment, with smoking permitted only on the veranda. Noise levels should be kept low as it is a residential area.
