Doonside Holiday Flats

Doonside Holiday Flats is composed of two adjacent blocks of flats situated in close proximity to the beach on the South Coast in Doonside, KwaZulu-Natal. Each block consists of four self-catering holiday flats. The flats feature a fully equipped kitchen with utensils, cookware, and appliances such as a refrigerator, stove, microwave, toaster, and kettle. Each flat contains a spacious main bedroom and a second bedroom, both furnished with comfortable single beds and clean linen provided.

The bathrooms are equipped with a bathtub and shower, and guests are required to supply their own towels. The lounge and dining area are furnished with a TV set and a DSTV Decoder set to the Family Bouquet, and guests are not permitted to bring their own decoder. Each block features a barbecue area within the grounds, serving as an informal gathering space for guests. Additionally, there is a shared large swimming pool with a barbecue area alongside.

The flats are serviced from Monday to Friday and on most weekends. The surrounding area and the units themselves are secure, and a vehicle parking area is available within the grounds in close proximity to the flats. Doonside is situated between Amanzimtoti and Warner Beach, approximately a 10-minute drive from Durban International Airport. The flats face southwards, overlooking the lagoon of the Little Amanzimtoti River and the beach towards Warner Beach. The swimming beach is approximately 70 meters away, and a rock pool is located about 100 meters to the south. The beach is equipped with shark nets, lifeguards, helicopter rescue, and tidal pools. It is renowned for surf and rock fishing, and the Warner Beach Ski Boat Club launches ski boats from the lagoon, offering opportunities for deep-sea fishing charters.

The main shopping center is situated 800 meters away, and there are several golf courses in the area. The Di'Vine Driving Range and Restaurant is a short five-minute drive away, and across the road is the Galleria Shopping Mall, which features movie theaters, restaurants, an ice rink, a bowling alley, and various shops and activities. Mmafulane Holdings owns Doonside Holiday Flats and welcomes guests for a relaxing and quiet stay at one of the better beaches on the KwaZulu-Natal South Coast.
