Doringpoort Lodge

Doringpoort Safari Lodge is an establishment located in Marloth Park, a private conservancy bordering the southern tip of the Kruger National Park wildlife conservancy. It offers luxury self-catering accommodation with unique features such as an open-air kitchen and shower facilities that provide an authentic African bush experience. The lodge is situated within the conservancy, allowing guests to observe free-roaming game and bird life.

The self-catering units are fully furnished, with two bedrooms and en-suite bathrooms. The units feature modern amenities, including a spacious lounge area with a TV and DStv, as well as free Wi-Fi throughout the property. Guests can choose from various additional services, including a self-catering option where the unit is stocked with groceries based on a provided shopping list, a bed and breakfast option, and the possibility to arrange additional meals.

Doringpoort Lodge provides undercover parking and allows guests to use their own high-clearance vehicles for self-drive game drives within the conservancy. Guests can also enjoy walking, running, and mountain biking within the conservancy's boundaries. The lodge offers an on-site tour desk to arrange activities within the Kruger National Park and surrounding areas, subject to availability.

Safety and security are prioritized at the lodge, with modern features such as alarm systems, security doors and windows, and a 24-hour response team. A backup generator ensures uninterrupted power supply, and a convenience shop on-site offers basic items for guests' convenience.

The Kruger National Park, renowned for its Big 5 and diverse animal and bird life, is a popular attraction for visitors to the area. The lodge is located approximately 20 km from the Crocodile Bridge gate, one of the entry points to the park.
