Situated at the end of a quiet cul-de-sac in the peaceful suburb of Diep River on the Constantia Meadowridge border, Dorset Cottage offers self-catering accommodation. The flatlet is located in a pleasant country garden, which guests are welcome to use. It provides an ideal base for relaxation or exploring Cape Town, as well as a convenient place to stay while on business. Guests have access to free fibre Wifi.

The accommodation features an open-plan kitchen and lounge area, leading onto a small patio next to the swimming pool. The bedroom, accessible from the lounge, has a double bed and a single bed in a loft area above the main bed. An en-suite toilet and shower are provided. While the accommodation is ideal for two people, it can accommodate a third person, such as a small child, as they would essentially share the same room. However, it is not suitable for three single adults.

The kitchen is equipped with a small fridge, a two-plate stove with a small oven, a microwave oven, a kettle, a toaster, and all necessary cooking utensils. The main lounge opens onto a small patio with access to the swimming pool. Although a safety fence is in place, the close proximity to the pool may pose a risk for small children who cannot swim.

Dorset Cottage is located within walking distance of two train stations and bus routes. Excellent shopping centres and a number of restaurants are situated in the surrounding area. The False Bay beaches are a 20-minute drive away, while the centre of Cape Town is approximately a 25-minute drive from the property.

Other local amenities include Kirstenbosch Gardens, easy access to walking routes on Table Mountain, the Alphen Trail, golf courses, Norval Art Gallery, World of Birds in Hout Bay, Blue Route Shopping Centre, Constantia Shopping Centre, Cavendish Square in Claremont, Constantiaberg Medi Clinic, and Melmed Tokai. The nearest airport is Cape Town International, located 24 km from Dorset Cottage.

A no-smoking and no-pets policy is in place for the flatlet. Parking is available on the main driveway behind locked gates at night. Dorset Cottage is not a party venue, and guests are not allowed to invite friends to use the facilities during their stay. Transportation services to and from Cape Town International Airport can be arranged.
