Drakensberg Gardens Fairways

The Drakensberg Gardens Fairways offers self-catering accommodation in luxury thatch cottages, situated within the Drakensberg Gardens Golf and Spa resort, which borders a World Heritage Site. It features the only 18-hole golf course in the Southern Drakensberg region.

The cottages are equipped with fully-functional kitchens that include microwaves, washing machines, and tumble dryers. They also have DStv access, individual braai facilities, and telephone connections. Daily housekeeping services are provided for the cottages.

Recreational activities available on-site include golfing, fishing, bowling, tennis, adventure golf, hiking trails, horse riding, archery, zip lining, and mountain biking, among others. Children can enjoy amenities such as a mini animal farm, pony rides, trampolines, a playground, and a daily entertainment program, as well as indoor facilities like arcade games, snooker, table tennis, and video rooms.

The resort houses four restaurants, offering various dining experiences such as a la carte, buffet/carvery, clubhouse, and a bistro for lighter meals. Several pubs, including a sports bar with snooker, darts, and a big-screen TV, are also available. A mini superette and a convenience store located 3 km from the resort's entrance provide shopping options. The resort also caters to weddings and features a Beauty Spa for pampering services.

The Fairways is situated on the only 18-hole golf course in the Southern Drakensberg. While the course can be walked, golf carts are available for those who require them. The main cottage features a queen-size bed and an en-suite bathroom with separate shower and bath, a second bedroom with two single beds, a second bathroom with a combined shower/bath, and an upstairs loft room with two single beds.
