Drayton Guest Farm is one of the oldest farms in the Overberg region. The original mill, dating back to the mid-1700s, is still located on the premises, along with a portion of the original wagon route. The farm is situated approximately 8 kilometers outside of Caledon, on the N2 road in the direction of Riviersonderend. Visitors can reach the cottage by car, with only the last 800 meters being a gravel road.

Upon arrival, guests are welcomed with freshly baked bread and homemade rusks. A menu is provided, allowing guests to order homemade meals and fresh baked goods to be enjoyed in the privacy of the cottage. Guests can relax on the veranda and take in the scenery, or embark on an easy hike to a nearby waterfall in the mountains. Additionally, a small mountain stream flows past the cottage.

The self-catering cottage features two bedrooms. One bedroom has two single beds or a king-size bed, while the other bedroom has four single beds, including one bunk bed. There is one shared bathroom with a shower and bathtub, as well as a separate toilet. An indoor braai/fireplace and an outdoor braai with a covered patio/stoep are available for guests to use.
